MOSES: A MAN OF DESTINY
INTRODUCTION
GREAT AS GOD IS, HE STILL HAS TIME TO WATCH OUT EVEN FOR THE FOWLS OF THE AIR AND THE LILIES OF THE FIELD MATT. 6:26-30.
CONSEQUENTLY, IT SHOULD BE EASY FOR US TO BELIEVE THAT GOD HAS A PLAN FOR EACH OF US EVEN AS HE HAD FOR MOSES IN SOME DETAILS, IN JESUS NAME.
OUTLINE ONE;
GOD HAD A PLAN FOR MOSES LONG BEFORE HE WAS BORN:
THE STORY OF MOSES STARTED MORE THAN 300 YEARS BEFORE HE WAS BORN.
IT STARTED WITH AN INCIDENT IN THE LIFE OF ABRAHAM AND CONTINUED THROUGH THE LIVES OF JACOB, JOSEPH AND OTHERS.
SATAN KNEW WHAT GOD TOLD ABRAHAM AND PLANNED TO FRUSTRATE THE PLANS OF GOD BUT GOD’S PLANS WILL NEVER FAIL.
GEN. 15:7-8, 13-14, JER. 1:4-5; GEN. 37:26-28, 41:1-6, 28-44; 46:1-7, GEN. 50:26. EXOD. 1:8-12, PS. 105:24, EXOD. 1:15-16; EXOD. 1:17-21, PROV. 16:6; DAN. 3:16; ACTS 5:29; PROV. 11:18; ISA. 3:10; HEB. 6:10; PS. 127:1 EXOD. 1:22
OUTLINE TWO;
GOD CAN USE HIS ENEMIES TO ACHIEVE HIS PURPOSE:
MOSES WAS BORN INTO THE CENTER OF A TOUGH BATTLE BETWEEN GOD AND EVIL, BUT GOD KNOWS HOW TO USE HIS ENEMIES TO ACHIEVE HIS PURPOSE.
MOSES KNEW THAT HE WAS A MAN OF DESTINY BUT HE MOVED BEFORE GOD WAS FULLY READY.
EXOD. 2:1-4; 2:5-10, ACTS 7:21; EXOD. 2:11-15A; HEB. 11: 13, 24-26, EXOD. 2:15b-22, 23-25; PS. 12:5 PS. 105:8; 2 SAM. 16:2; LUKE 1:25

That Man Enoch (Digging Deep – 29/10/2019)
TEXT:
GEN 5:24
INTRODUCTION:
The bible does not give us too many details about the man Enoch.
He is the son of Jarred, Gen 5:18 and father of many sons and daughters,the prominent of who was Methuselah, Gen 5:21-22.
But the most striking statements about Enoch were that he walked with God, and God took him.
May the Lord teach about this great saint tonight for our own benefits in Jesus name amen.
1. Enoch must have been a lonely man, But he was never really alone.
Anyone who decides to walk with God must have decided to be out of steps with the world and its changing fashions.
such a fellow must focus his attention on God only. He/she must believe firmly that it is possible to walk with a Holy God through living a victorios, holy life.
Such a person will be lonely because he cannot have many friends,but surely he will never be alone because God will keep him company.
1 John 2:15-17, 2 Cor 6:17, Mark 8:38, Heb 12:2, Col 3:1-2, Matthew 5:48, 1 Peter 1:15-16, Heb 13:5
2. Enoch pleased God. That is a comprehensive testimonial.
From the fact that Enoch pleased God, we can deduce alot of information:
a. He must have been a man of faith
b. He must have been full of praises of God
c. He must have been a giver
d. He must have served God through love of God
e. He must have witnessed for God. No wonder God took him!
Heb 11:5, Heb 11:6, Rom 14:23, 2 cor 57, Rom 11:20, 2 Cor 1:24, Rom 4:5,9, 1 Thess 5:18, Heb 13:16,1 John 3:22, Deut 10:12, Amos 3:3, Jude 14, 2 Kings 2:11
