Your activities in the Vineyard of God are more or less spiritual than physical it seems to most believers. The person to whom activities are referred is a spirit being. His pleasure is centered in uprightness. (1Chro 29:17). It is written in the book of John 4:24 “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth”. In the book of John 1:12, it is written “….as many as received him, to them he gave power to become the children of God…” The day a man or women give his or her life to Jesus Christ that is the day power was given him or her to rule above sin. But failure to use this power on a daily basis, to live a holy and a righteous life, to work out his or her salvation with fear and trembling exposes him or her to worldliness and it’s pleasure thereof. It is written “the prayer of a sinner man is an abomination unto God”
In Romans 12:1, it written “I beseech you my brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service”. By this scriptural verse, it shows that as a man or woman if you are not living a holy life, though working with God, your service is unreasonable.
Viewer, what are you in the vineyard of God? Are you a chorister, an usher, a pastor, an evangelist, a teacher, a minister? Do you still enjoy sinful live? Do you still derive pleasure in worldliness? Do you still harbor unforgiveness in your heart and other manner of sin? Search your heart even as u read this bulletin. You are wasting your time if you still derive pleasure in sin. Repent now and ask God for forgiveness. It does not matter who you are. It does not matter the denomination of church you belong. Neither does it matter the position you hold in the church or in the society. The soul that sinneth shall surely die!
I pray for you; as you will make up your mind to turn to God for holy and righteous living, may God Almighty grant you the grace to remain faithful unto Him till the second coming of our savior Lord Jesus Christ in Jesus Name.
